The OpenSees Spring School 2026—now in its 10th edition—will take place at the Campus de Couros (University of Minho) in the historic city of Guimarães, Portugal.

The OpenSees course at the University of Minho will take place 5–8 May 2026, preceded by online preparatory sessions on 27–29 April 2026.

We are excited to announce that the next edition of the Eurasian OpenSees Days (EOS) Conference will take place at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, on July 5–7, 2026. Abstract submission here!

The 1st EOS OpenSees Awards have been assigned


With more than 150 students joining both in-person and online from all over the world, this year’s OpenSees Course at EPFL has been an incredible experience once again! 🎉

Eurasian OpenSees Association (EOS) aims at developing a community where we can share the logic of open-source software is an essential task, fostering collaboration and innovation in structural engineering.

A huge thank you to Igor Tomić, Katrin Beyer, and Dimitrios Lignos from EPFL for their outstanding work in organizing everything locally. Your dedication made this event a success!
